I teach regularly and sometimes act as compere at dance festivals like the fabulous JOY (Jewel of Yorkshire), London's Fantasia festival, the recent Farha Festival in Newcastle, Raqs Britannia and the International Bellydance Congress weekends.  These events are usually non-residential (although Raqs B and the Farha Festival, Congress offer hotel packages).  The weekends involve UK based and international teachers offering a range of workshops from beginner to advanced level and usually stunning evening entertainment.

 In addition to learning more about the dance you can shop at the festival souks, watch performances at the showcases and generally dance til you drop at the haflas.
