Haflas are great fun and allow you the opportunity to glam up for an evening.  They are informal dance parties, I organise two haflas a year with the help of a dedicated band of lovely people.  Anyone can come along – students, family, friends.  Mine are usually at the Goosnargh and Whittingham Sports and Social Club in Goosnargh.  The evenings usually include solo and group dance performances, an opportunity for everyone to get up and boogie, food, a bar and a souk/bazaar.

They provide an ideal opportunity for dancers of all levels to just forget about learning and just enjoy this wonderful dance and for their family and friends to come along and find out a bit more about it.  It is entirely up to you if you want to get up and dance or just sit and watch.
