www.faridadance.com – The site of my gorgeous friend Kay Taylor, Miss Costume herself.  Kay stocks the best costumes from Egypt and Turkey, organises the fabulous Farha Tours and the recent Farha Festival (www.farhatour.com) , runs regular dance holiday trips to Egypt and Turkey, promotes quality music cds and dvds and co-ordinates the ever popular Ford Castle residential weekends.

www.desertjourney.net - The site of Warda and Bechir who offer wonderful holidays to all parts of Tunisia and specialise in trips which include visits to the stunning Sahara.  I travelled with a party of dancers to the desert in Nov 2007 and had a wonderful time and am planning another trip with them to Djerba in Oct 2009 which will include a 48hr mini desert excursion to the hot springs. 

www.nada.uk.com – The site of the Northern Arabic Dance Association, a membership organisation originally set up to promote Middle Eastern dance throughout the north of England and Scotland but now with members throughout the UK and overseas.

www.tarabdance.com – The Tarab Dance Company produce and tour show of various aspects of Middle Eastern dance.  Their current show Strictly Bellydance has tour dates throughout 2007/8.

www.aladdinscave.com run by friends Irene and Edwin Wood - Irene can provide hip belts, gorgeous dance bodies (not the fleshy sort!)and other dancewear while Edwin has a massive range of Arabic music, videos and dvds.

www.wiggle.org.uk - run by Chris Ogden and Stephen Blakelock this is the biggest information site for Middle Eastern dance in the North of England.
Masses of information and constantly updated this site is extremely useful in keeping up to date with what's on, where and with who.  
 
www.tasteofcairo.com - This is the gorgeously designed (by her husband Ric)site of my friend, Tracy Gibbs. Tracey is a professional photographer and a great dancer. We have travelled to Egypt together many times and she is an authority on Egyptian dance style and technique.
