Having studies and performed tap and jazz dance since the age of 12 I have a passion for all dance genres and continue to dip my toe into other styles from time to time although my main interest is Middle Eastern dance and in particular Egyptian dance

dancing with the audience

I qualified as a dance teacher with the Josephine Wise Academy of Arabic Dance (JWAAD) in 1999 and have been teaching throughout the UK and beyond ever since.  My ongoing love affair with dance has recently inspired me to take classes in burlesque dance.  I also practice Pilates whenever I can.

For those who loved the old pink ak.com site, sorry it had to go but I hope you like this new clean look with just a hint of pink and more fabulous photos.
